What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful form of healing in which the practitioner channels energy into the recipient through gentle touch, hovering hands over the body, or simply with intention. This helps to awaken the natural healing processes within the recipient's body.
What to expect
During your Reiki session, you will sit or lie down and close your eyes. There’s nothing else you need to do! Just enjoy the restorative experience of Reiki, noticing what you experience.
Possible experiences:
- You might feel a change in your body temperature (warmer/cooler)
- You might see lights or colors
- You might sense energy gently moving through you
- You might feel relaxed or sleepy
- Or... you might feel nothing. (But this doesn’t mean that the Reiki isn’t working.)
During the session, I felt a lightness and coolness in the back of my torso area. Also, I noticed after the session that the swelling around my ankles was no more! My experience was profound and healing…
